These US manufactured aluminium Thunderbird 6 cuft/ 0.8 liter cylinders are an ideal drysuit inflation cylinder, mounting easily to the divers backplate with a set of Halcyon Mounting Straps. They can be purchased as tank only, or packaged with a Thermo convertible DIN valve. Thermo Pro SCUBA valves are high quality polished finish heavy chrome plated brass and have DIN outlets that can accept included removable inserts so the valves may also be used with yoke regulator first stage fittings.This is a NON-modular valve that cannot later be used with modular components such as H-adapters and manifold crossbars.Thermo Pro DIN/K valves are Nitrox Ready, using oxygen compatible materials and when sealed in the original factory packaging is also free of organic and particle contamination. Each and every Thermo Pro DIN/K valve receives eight-step testing and is pressurized to full working pressure. It is suitable for use with the 232 bar/ 3442 psi service pressure cylinders and any DIN style regulator or (with use of the included insert) any yoke style regulator. Inlets have 3/4" NPSM neck threads for use with modern aluminum and steel SCUBA tanks manufactured for the North American market. Inlets also include a threaded 'dip tube' with hex opening suitable for easy dependable installation with a hex key. Robust handwheels are made from soft rubber formed around a stainless steel insert. The stainless steel insert ensures positive operation with long-lasting life. The large ribs make it easy to open or close the valve even while wearing gloves. A one-piece safety assembly (burst disk) eliminates the possibility of mismatched components. This greatly reduces the likelihood of accidental incorrect installation of the safety assembly and protects the integrity of your diving cylinder. The safety device is shielded by the valve body to avoid damage during transportation or while diving. Valves have a 357 bar/ 5250 psi burst disk.
