As with most Halcyon products, an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work is required to create a plate that we are proud to sell.
Constructed from high-grade, polished 304 stainless steel, with carefully milled surfaces eliminating sharp edges and compatible with any Halcyon BC component.
Standard-size plates are 39.3 cm x 26 cm / 15.5" x 10.25" and weigh 2.7kg / 6 lb unrigged.
Small size plates are 36 cm x 22.5 cm / 14" x 9" and weigh 2.3 kg / 5lb. These are especially comfortable for divers less than about 1.60m / 5'4".
Utility holes allow mating with MC Storage Pak to stow a variety of lift devices as well as mounting the small Halcyon drysuit inflation kit.
NOTE : There is a "long" backplate size normally available to special order. This adds approximately 5cm/2" in length for tall divers as well as a little extra weight which can be useful if diving drysuited. The Hlacyon MC Pack DOES NOT fit the utility holes on this plate.

Complete adjustability of D-rings eliminates inappropriate attachment points.

Adjustable crotch strap enhances stability, nearly eliminating unwanted tank movement.
Pre-bent shoulder D-rings facilitate quick storage of accessories from Scout lights to stage bottles.
EDPM elastic bands help secure accessories.
NOTE : The 3m / 10 ft. webbing for small backplates does not have a grommet hole since small backplates do not require this for use.
